We had a Jam Committee meeting tonight and the numbers of registered participants is very low compared to previous years.
As you can imagine, there is a "magic number" of required participants in order to simply break even for this event. The fact is that we are currently quite far from this number is of concern to the committee.
The decision was made tonight to meet on the Tuesday after the May 10th deadline to discuss the final number of registered participants. Depending on this information, the committee may be forced to cancel or modify the event. It is our hope that we do not have to make these changes but the numbers registered participants is out of our control.
The committee realizes that money is tight in this lovely economy we live in/with.....but if you are planning to attend the Jam, please do not miss the May 10th deadline!
There is a lot of buzz from people saying they are going but for one reason or another the registered numbers are not reflecting this.
Thank you for your understanding!

As Kyle stated we may have to cancel or modify to make this happen. We are trying our best to make it happen. We have advertised in PEI, NB, and throughout NS.
We are still working on it so please if you are planning on going please register.

I am the V.P for NBJC. We have done our usual and sold tickets for a chance to win 2 tickets for the jam. WE cannot get 2 tickets from you for the jam. We also have several other members here that have been trying to get tickets, with no luck. Members have been trying to contact CVO. with no response. SOOO maybe your numbers are low and there are tons of people in the same boat.

CVO is busy. I have not heard of this issue. There have been a couple of people who had to try a couple of times but they got through. Please try CVO again at 902-468-5082. Ask for Matt.
If you are still having issues contact me as I can take cash, money order or certified cheque. CVO is taking the credit card payments for us.
Contact me here or by phone 902-877-9695.

CVO has a storefront with a guy sitting there by the phone during business hours. If he does not answer, he is out back doing something. Call back 5 minutes later.

It important to remember we are all volunteers on the committee and CVO is volunteering to take the calls.
As Jan stated, Matt has his normal job to do during the day which already keeps him busy.
We acknowledged that in an ideal word, we would have a dedicated line/person for registration but this is simply not possible.

Please stay tuned Bruce and I are working on a solution and it will be available on Monday.
We are aprox 20 or so short as of yesterday. I will know the numbers better on Monday.
So if you are going to register please do so by the 10th. We have a committee meeting on the 11th to go over items. With your help we can make this a great year. Just like every other Jam.
So lets get those registrations in.

The committee is working hard to make this event happen. I have to say thanks to all that have PM me and said they will be registering. If everyone comes through then it will be good to go. I am am pretty sure this will all work out but it takes everone regeristing to get it done. Thanks again to everyone who has registered and will be registering. Rob
