I don't think a lot of people get what went into that bar. you could fawk that up 20 different ways. well put jan... rue does some real nice work for a little hole in the wall shop... but i bet he'd be lost if he had all the fancey stuff to work with, and room to walk all the way around what he'd building lol

most just build the side of the dies up, and grind them to fit the sides of the pipes nice n tight.... i did one set of dies for ours, real quick like, and it works 348.5% better

If anyone is interested in doing this, rather than using a torch, since not everyone has one, throw it in the oven on 350° for an hour or two before welding. this will heat it all evenly.
When the welding is all said and done, throw it in a bucket of fine, dry sand, this will allow it to cool off more slowly and evenly, so it contracts evenly and doesn't crack.

you build these way too fast awesome The main part of the chassis comes together pretty quick. It's getting the suspension and all the other little things mounted that take the time. Rue
