Slowly starting to put the goodies to her James. Give her. Slowly is right Dave. Much slower then I want to but that is life. Right now I have been working on things that will help when I take the wife and kids camping. Wife wants the camp grounds. I would love to take a trip or two with the Jeep and just go find a spot to camp in the woods. I want to get to the fun stuff (lift, rock sliders, bumpers and so on). I think I could buy another Jeep with what that all adds up to. James

We spent a few days exploring around Halls Harbour a couple years ago. We were not expecting to stay overnight but found an old park and squatted for the night. Also spent 4 days exploring the Cabot Trail and over to Louisburg. Each night we found a place to park the Grand in a secluded area. Had the bbq made a fire and had a few drinks. Slept in the Grand every night. Lots of fun.

I need to get on one this year. James

Got my rear axle back from APJs this afternoon (4wp sent me the wrong rear locker so there was a wait). Rear is in 85%... just gotta finish up the brakes and some torquing tomorrow, after that I need to install my compressor/switch wiring, run my air lines for my lockers then I'm all ready for jam.

Everything all in and torqued, the 4.56 drives perfect for my tires glad I didn't go lower (thanks scotty lol)
All thats left now is install my compressor/switches and run the lines... still debating if I'm gonna tackle that myself or have a shop do it

Replaced my front trac bar with an adjustable one so i can recenter my front axle...found three of the holes in the mounting brackets have oblonged. Have drill out new pieces to weld to the bracket but unfortunately the stock bolts will be too short. So off to transworld tomorrow for two new bolts that are 1/2 inch longer to accommodate the extra pieces of 3/16 that I will be welding in. Hopefully the 3/16 will make it less susceptible to wear.
Sent from my SGH-I747M using proboards

Sent from my SGH-I747M using proboards This is a common issue with the JKs, the track bar bolt to the axle bracket is actually something like 0.05" smaller in diamter than the hole... I swapped mine out with grade 8 hardware of the proper diamater
