truck painted, but blew a rear brake line the first test run out which is always nice. So no pics yet have to wait to get it back outside. decided to get started on the roll bar. Didnt use the right primer for galvanized pipe when we made it, so the paint never stuck really at all. Stripped it and added a spare tire mount: was really temped to just weld it on, but it would block me forever of loading anything big, the rollbar itself does a good job of that. So its drilled and tapped, just a piece off an old wheel bearing welded on a pipe. Glad the mirrors on the newer doors are bigger, seeing how i wont be able to see jack shit out of the review mirror now O well its gonna look cool ;D hopefully bleed the brakes tonight and actually drive it out of the garage for some pics

Truck looks great! Though I'd rather have the hook flipped the otherway... or at least a 1/4 turn. Nothing to hold a strap on the way it is. hmm... 1/4 turn it would have made a nice step to get into the bed too! Bill

there was a reason why it pointed down, not sure if it hit the tailgate or what it was but i was kind of disappointed when it had to go upside down too.
yeah the sideways hook would have been pretty sick, haddent thought of that!

actually this paint job didnt come out that good bought a new regulator on paint day, took it out of the package and smashed in on the floor, so i had to keep setting the compressor at ~60, turn it off, paint a few panels and then switch her on after it ran down to about 45psi of so. the driver side is pretty orange peely, looks ok in the pictures from that distance. but besides that its just a coleman 50gal compressor and overhead sprayer, with a few drops of fisheye remover, and usually @ 50psi or so. that Nason paint is really where its at, had some good luck with it flattening out.
