wanna come re-wire my jeep next. Sure I'll help if your supplying the beer. Most of the cj wiring is just for light bulbs. It's not too bad compared to new vehicles. lol

Its kinda fun doing wiring when you aren't cramped for space. The gauges look good.

I was pretty sick for the last couple weeks and made no progress. Finally started feeling better on the weekend and decided today to wash it off and go for a little drive. Then I'll be back to work on it. The nice weather is more motivating. Cleans up pretty good for an old cj.

Yep that's true, and the body lift will be sitting about an inch lower. My M8000 will be switched over off my yj.

Yep 1/8 steel. Pretty sure they are warrior products. I also put a 1/8" x 2" strip of steel on the inside to bolt to so it hopefully spreads out any load on them.

Finished the other side up today. Still going to paint the bolts and the inner bracket thing i made. Decided next to drop the gas tank a little to get a working fuel gauge and ran into problems.(I need some knowledge on this, see other thread in tech)

These are 33x10.5 tsl radials. Not really in need of another set yet.

Well I cleaned up the old sending unit and managed to get it out. Here they are compared. Glad i didn't mess with that old one. It definitely doesn't look right. Here they are compared. Got the new sending unit installed and hooked up my wiring and gauge read 1/4 tank which seems about right from how much was left when lifting it. Poured in a jug of fuel and gauge is now showing around 1/2 so it looks like that's working.
