Hey Rick, Just thought I'd let ya know how we installed Cindy's long arms...Being that the long arm brackets don't come with crush sleeves, on Cindy's we didn't drill holes and put bolts through hers, we figured they would be far better off welded directly to the frame...just a thought to consider...
Good luck w/ the build bro!!
Jeff

Good luck w/ the build bro!! Jeff Thought about that Jeff, mine are going to be completely welded on due to the fact that my frame nuts are missing ( someone already drilled em out ;D) So what I did was tap the holes in the RC bracket to hold my trans skid, and the brackets will be welded solid to my frame. Seen it done before and seems to be working great for this fella............. Rick

Got the frame all cleaned up and spot welded the brackets to the frame Assembled the arms Installed frame end, thought about leaving her like this I've seen spiders crawl on walls Big thanks to my helper Ricky (my son) Front end assembled, but will have to come apart again for new brackets for the HP D30 (old one's are rotted out) Now that's a freakin wheel opening! Bolted up the tranny skid and started getting the 8.8 ready for brackets New Solid candy Installing new TJ brackets on the 8.8 Adjusting the spring perches Sitting on her wheels!!! Gotta tighten all my arms yet and put her on a trailer, going to work for final welding. Still LOTS more to do and more to come so stay tuned! Rick

Looking good Rick! Something else we did with Cindy's arms is...... we had read that RC long arms had squeaky bushings and we had noticed that there were no grease fittings on the bushing ends, so we drilled, tapped and installed grease fittings on hers and pumped 'em full of white lithium. Also have you seen the RC belly up skid Rick, I would say it would be a big mod to get rid of that stock shovel under there... Hurry up bro, I wanna hit the Breakline soon as the snow goes!! Jeff

Ok so she's outta the shop, ended up adding a Rugged Ridge 10500 RC quick disco's and an RC front adjustable trac bar (coming soon) and hopefully a Flowmaster muffler (right Tracy ). Rethinking the HP30 (poss D44 nonRubi style) so I'm 2wd right now but a LP30 is going back in next week. Thanks again to Tracy Peck (great deals) my kids and friends for helping and my Wife for not groining too much Flexing her out a little My smallest helper! Rick
