it's always more efficent and productive, if things are organized.... you can find what you need, and tell if your getting low... we try to keep ours organized...... but maybe not as much as you lol

I went and picked up 2 of those PA kits at lunch! Me too! haha I even started on organizing my garage yesterday. I took some 'before' pics, worked on it for 3 hours, and I'll hit it again today (on vacation this week). I guess this thread really was the inspiration I needed to get at it.

Bringing this thread back up..... I found the Fastenal shelves pretty good for a year or so, but then the bolt trays started filling up and I couldn't see how much there was of stuff. They are great for storage of small stuff and oddball things, but I didn't like working with the bolts out of the bins. Didn't have any 3/8" NC nuts one night.....with this giant row of bolts in a bolt bin. Missing the most common item, so needed more visibility. I never got around to organizing the big orange cabinet where the bolts used to be. Cleaned that up some, removed some stuff and moved the drawer dividers around to fit stuff better. Pulled the bolts out of the blue bins and put them back in the big cabinet. Same magnet labels. It went fairly quickly. And added stuff I had aquired in the meantime. Made some dividers, the ones with the arc. the ones with the bent lip are 'stock' and a bit tall for digging to the bottom for little parts. I needed more anyway, so I made a bunch. I cleaned up a couple of more drawers in the cabinet too, I'll get pics as I go along.
