I figured some of the work was just to get it rolling. reworking the lower trac mount and matching the trac angle to the draglink will make for a much better handling rig. Maybe the tie-rod is just thrown on there, after all the other nice work on the arms and housing, it doesn't fit in.

lol yea man the tie rod and drag link were just thrown on so i could move it around. im going to be using the 1 ton TRE's but theres not going to be much room between the high stearing arm and the knuckle to do the flip.... but i agree on the trac bar mount, it dose have a lot of bump steer. i am planing on throwing on the shimmy shock set up i have first to see what i got for space.

something to consider - grab yourself a ZJ pitman and get that draglink flatter and reduce the angle on the steering arm joint.
It looks like the steer arm could have the front cut off it, giving room to flip the tie rod up? Maybe not.

with the ZJ arm it wouldent steer enough one way, but drilling another hole in the arm (thus the reason its long) would fix it. and i was looking, with the tie rod end in and fliped there wouldent be much room for the steering shock mount..........Alan will figure it out when he puts the ends in it, i have a ZJ arm in the pass seat for him to try.

and we are going to put a Skyjacker trac bar that mounts to the steering shock on a stock D30 , so its nice and short.

It now has an aluminum drag link with TRE's, ZJ pitman arm, and I built a spacer to raise the high steer arm. Drag link has just a slight downward angle now. I used the old DOM drag link to make a new track bar, and built a new raised mount by the spring. It is very close to the same angle as the drag link now. It drives great with no bump steer, and the steering has room to flex now ( I had it on the RTI rock ).
