Get a bucket of water maby a couple gallons and a battery charger (12v) source . couple table spoons of baking soda and a couple hours. dry thoroughly and paint the inside of the tank , all done ! Cheap and easy , just like me :-) gives you the idea , don't let the pieces touch though what size 12v source would you need for a swimming pool and a 95 grand cherokee?

This might be an easy question for someone....looking for some advice before i go any further with this thing.
Long story short...my buddy was lazy last fall and left his mower out all winter...AGAIN. So it would start for a second, then die. I've drained the fuel...replaced with new, new sparkplug, and i took the carb off and sprayed it down as best as i could with carb cleaner...removed jet and sprayed that down.
now i know the float and bowl area still needs some cleaning(varnishy)...but it now starts and sputters....and will stay running with hand over carb...but that's the only time it'll stay running. I'm thinking that hose from the air filter housing to crank needs replacing...and maybe filter? but before i go get more parts for this thing....am i on the right track? still a fuel problem? or does it sound like its an air problem with that tube maybe?

If it stays running with your hand over the air intake it's not getting enough fuel.
Clean the float and needle.

sounds good...
when i take the carb off again...is there something i can soak the parts in that can be bought lets say at crappy tire? or is it best to just keep using the spray can of carb cleaner? the float area is still pretty varnished so i'm thinking it's best to soak em in something.

Same concept as our sonic bath, Dish Soap HOT HOT HOT Water. Which I use to clean carburetors. Sonic Bath just vibrates and only goes to 60 Degrees... Could use Varsol ( just remove all plastics or rubber ) Aint much just to grab some fuel line to fix it ( Air Breather )
