It's now re-geared, locked, and has a flat belly! And that re-built drive shaft is now much shorter.

I wish Jeff had of flexed it on your rock though - I was disappointed to hear he didn't! I was hoping to see a pic tonight. I guess we'll have to go find something to flex it on tomorrow around Springhill. Good luck to us finding a rock in Springhill! lol

He flexed it on a retaining wall here at the home shop, but with the sway bar hooked up, still did well though.
You'll have to get back down to try it on the RTI rock!

Chatted with Jeff at the Digby Irving at suppertime on my way home - looking good! I was trying to figure out whose Jeep that was as I drove by - I was nearly by the second entrance when I figured it out and whipped in! He says those gears work awesome!
We await the pictures/vids of the maiden voyage!

Thanks guys! Had it out for it's first major run today - it worked awesome - I totally love it! Little bit of carnage though - I was trying to straddle a washout but fell in a hole - dented my fender and lost a side marker light. Pics and vid to come.

Some flex pics from last Sunday: There was some more carnage from that run that I didn't realize until the other day. So there is this big mud hole on the pole line. It got me last year in my stocker and I had to get winched out. When I got into it on Sunday, I was bound and determined to make it through with my new and improved Jeep. It was moving ever so slightly every time I went back and forth so I didn't want to give up. So eventually I hammered on it, rev limiter pinging away and got out of the hole on my own after much back and forth action. Then Jeff and I went out Monday and rode trails all day. He went over to Malcolm's after we got home and Jeff was showing Malcolm how I bent my tierod. When Malcolm was looking at it he noticed my u-joint was toast - two caps were gone, and it had apparently wallowed out the stub shaft. Funny it wasn't making any noise or anything when we drove it all day Monday. I guess it's a good idea to check the u-joints after a hard obstacle like that as it would be much cheaper to replace just the u-joint before it ruins the shaft!! So that was my first real run with the "new" Jeep, and I was a little hard on it at times. I don't normally drive like that. I just didn't want to be stuck on my maiden voyage. Now that that hole is conquered, I'll never go in there again! lol So Jeff is going to take the beefy Skyjacker tierod off of his ZJ and put it on my TJ, and he's going to take the stub shaft off it too for me. So cheap fixes for now. Cindy

Great pics Cindy. Very happy for you. Nice job, both of you... I know the efforts you put into it.
ps. the ends of the bumper look sharp enough to impale a Kia on.
