6'r I think you should think about having them hot dipped galv , No nasty rust stains on that nice tub . The frame is done on it ! That would be super shiny. I had a bumper dipped one time, it turned out a bit too bright.

Looks very nice. With it tied in to the body mounts and rollbar like that do you think it will be strong enough to put a jack under it or take a really hard hit without damage to the tub? I want to tie my armour in somehow as well before I go offroad or I foresee my glass tub shattered, lol

With it tied in to the body mounts and rollbar like that do you think it will be strong enough to put a jack under it or take a really hard hit without damage to the tub? yep. The rockers would suck pretty bad if you couldn't put a jack under it. i would expect to be made fun of for making weakling crap. There are 13 bolts and two cage feet per side, with backing plates on the insides. The force of a hit can't be spread around any more than it is in terms of attachment points. I figured with the glass tub, to use as many mounting points as reasonably possible to spread the load around. The cage is bonus for soaking up a hit, you are going to have to tweak the cage to bend the rocker. The front cage foot kinda lands on the front 1/3 of the rocker, right where you hit it most. i think you can hit it prety damn hard and it will be ok. And if you look at the pics, you can see it is fairly easy to make a frame connection from the cage foot to the frame. They aren't there because I don't think its neccessary for Big6's trail choices or driving style. He's not a roller. This is a 'trail cage'. The seats aren't mounted to the cage and there are no 5 point harnesses, so in my mind, you don't need frame connections to the cage. Thx for looking.

Nice clean professional looking work.
The little things like the cage mounting pad being a different shape than the rocker pad are the fine details that most people would not pay attention to and cause weak points in the design. Well thought out and executed ;D
