Rear manifold stud was the one that broke on mine. Sounded like a school bus until I fixed it! Must be where the water runs down the back or something, same one on the 4 cyl I had. I pulled the head and drilled it out.

I had this old skool shifter handle kicking around for years and years . It was time to make good use of it I made a extension from an old sway bar , welded a stud on one end and two nuts welded together on the other end Ape hanger !! Goodtimes !

Every bolt I have taken out , except one exhaust manifold stud , came out without a problem The rear manifold stud? I think that's the one that most often breaks. One on the bottom I presume?? It looks like I have a broken one there And it looks like a P.I.T.A. to get at too

It looks like I have a broken one there And it looks like a P.I.T.A. to get at too I just took a few pics to show which one , ( I am waiting on the duty cycle of the welder ) Its the one above the oxygen sensor , But I replaced both while I was there

Your seat back needs to be tilted back another 15-20 degrees, but otherwise you got that nailed!! I think you actually have to LIVE in SackVega$ to tilt back that far. Don't forget to lean to the right when driving also.
