yup, I'm plenty happy with that outcome. i thought there would be a lot of foot space gone, but you could DD this mod and not even really notice a loss of interior space.

I'm enjoying the pics and seeing it in person. I hope it's rumbling around with seats in it soon. Is this an occasional run rig or yard dog only now? I guess it depends on the plan for the back eh?

i think I've got a plan to get it to topless run with the back toob'd out, but just the same suspension.
then build Toy axles and link it/highsteer with way more wheelbase and coils.
all the while still yard-doggin it.
i dunno, its up in the air. i don't want to hang links off the CJ frame, but i could make a big cradle flatbelly with all the link mounts on it and not have to worry about the old frame.

Looking good! Nice work on the floor. Be interesting to see what you guy come up with for the rear tube work.
You would be happier with your 2nd option for the rear supension.Keep the belly flat. It sucks getting hung up on a link mount.
