Dude, I thought we had it bad when we sanded thru all the crud paint on the Roach. I don't even want to think about the work you put in to put it bare metal. Props man

wow... that is crazy. I think you should just clear coat the bare metal... forget the paint... would look sick ;D

kool, i am not in the trade but took it autobody in college and we had to strip a car to bare metal. We just used paint stripper let it set up then scraped off the paint.

kool, i am not in the trade but took it autobody in college and we had to strip a car to bare metal. We just used paint stripper let it set up then scraped off the paint. same here, the only problem with the strippers, thier pretty harsh, and technically, your supposed to be a pro to buy them. also, they will cause the base metal to rust, if it's not primed right away. i sanded a pick up cab and front clip to bare metal.... never again lol

That is nuts Ted. i can't imagine the brainless hours leaning into the sander and the numb hand and paint dust.
