So i don't see this posted yet so i figured id start it...... what are the most essential tools one needs in a garage/shop to do say 90 percent of repairs, builds and what ever else...
ive got a mastercraft socket set, a jobmate set, wrenches, screw drivers, hammer, tape mesure.. god knows what else as im thinkin off top of my head.

X2. Cutting, grinding, flapper, and wire wheels. By far the tool I use the most.

Ahh yes a jack and stabds, I got an older bottle jackk and the crappy sizzor jacks.. Need to invest in a good jack and all. The ones at PA, are they any good or what? Decided to do all ny own work except for welding from now on to save some bucks.. And I figured others could benefit from this as well..
Sorry for spelling and stuff I'm on my blackberry and the keys are mighty small lol

Drain pan for fluid changes , filter wrench , flaring tool for making lines, multi meter or test light .

That's a good point dan, and good for all to know... When I said other could benefit I ment from essential tools, I don't work on friends cars at all unless its something I know... My own how ever is something different. If I can avoid labour fees then that's money saved which is a good deal...
Stupuid question but where can I get the ends for brake lines? I looked up how to use a flaireing tool last night and now wanna try it out.
