my god that machine is tiny.... I thought it was bigger. I thought the Southern rigs were muchg larger. it's like a 5/6th scale southern rig! but it looks gorgeous, well done man, I can't wait to see it in person. did you say you have a build thread on another board for it? I'd love to see the build step by step.

It has 42" tires, 115" wheel base, 24" under the belly and 6' tall. Almost the exact dimensions of Tim Cameron's new buggy ( the red on shown above. The cab is a bit shorter but overall similar to the new light weight southern buggies. A lot smaller than the old Rockwell souther buggies that were popular a few years ago.

I guess it just looks small in the photos. I have seen a lot of photos and videos of Tim Cameron's many buggys, and they all looked so much larger... none-the-less, great looking machine, well done.

Just paint it something simple and cheap,It's going to get the shit pounded out of it anyways Rue Got to look good while its getting beat! Im now planning to tear it down, finish all the welds and paint her up soon. The chassis is not very big so it should not take long to paint her up. Wish I had more room in the garage, it would make the dis-assembly alot easier. Ill have to take it apart in the garage and store all the parts in the trailer! It should be back together in a few weeks, assuming the transmission can get fixed in time and ill be ready to give it a try. Any runs coming up in mid november?

Beadlocks and Pitbulls. Paint the beadlocks to compliment the cage color, whatever that ends up being.

I'm surprised that nobody likes the blingy krawlers! I like them because of the additional inch of total diameter compared to the pit bulls. Downside is setting up bead lock. I've been looking into internal beadlocks and bead protectors but that combo gets $$ fast. Especially with a complete set of rims and tires in the garage. Decisions, decisions On another note, I've been taking the buggy apart for Paint. Most of the accessories are out including wiring. Engine/ Trans comes out today.
