Glen was over picking something up.....saw my shed.
I believe the quote was "Tisk tisk, so this is your dirty little secret"
Fine, I will clean my shed. It's long overdue. I needed a place to work while painting the house and getting ready for winter, and got pissed off everytime i walked in there. I was also getting the apt. ready to rent out, and had to do work in there too.
Its a bit of a walk to the garage when you forget a tool. "Where's my damn screwdri.....ARRGGG!" STOMP STOMP STOMP down to the garge. (don't forget your key for the garage) "ARRGGG!" STOMP STOPMP STOMP to house for garage key. STOMP STOMP STOMP to garage for..."WTF was I supposed to get?" "YYAARRRGGGG!!!!!" ;D This gets old fast.
Pic is from standing on roof of apt.
Kicked a bunch of stuff out of the way to get a view of the nice workbench in there. Came with the house.
Nice eh? Its a great little shed, well it could be. Pretty old, but concrete floor, insulated, 60A panel, couple of windows and a wide, solid door. Its right up next to the house.
so i cleaned up bigtime. There wasn't even a lot of garbage, just needed organizing.
Moved table out to run down center of shed. access both side for storage, and work all around. Better for wood projects with long length, and twice the access for storage.
Last of the household stuff out of my garage.
Packing it away. The bench is 12' long, plywood top and 3/16" angle iron frame. It is solid and heavy.
never knew I had so many nails and screws. packs all over the place.
clear wall. figure i'll put the mower and garbage cans/recycling here.
These old cabinets are attached to the wall, so I left it. painted it up, and put all paint supplies there. Put some shelves above too. Nice smooth work surface.
Ah, much much better. Now I have a proper shed for wood and house maintenance. And seasonal storage/garden shed too.
Just for kicks - here is the color I painted the house, and I've been working on some bad ass shutters.
I'm going to paint the shed the same colors.
