Looks great Jan. I wouldn't worry about having a lot of play for the plow to rock. New plows for pick-up don't have much, and the only play the one I had for the CJ (now on a tractor) was in the blade trip pins. I never had any problems. As long as you have, some it will be good. You will be plowing slow in your own yard, it's not like you are trying to do 50 driveways every snow.

About 2-3" on this one, I think. Thx for checking.
I'll jack the shoes up until there is a good base.

skinning the plow mocking it up on the CJ5 rear mounts. good spot for the frame to crack in half. the boatsides will hold it together. ;D blade put some 'drift cutters' on the ends. slid some pipe in for fun. might get a sheet of plastic and add more ribs and make it huge. I guess next will be figuring out the winch and lifting the plow. oh and trip springs.

Looks awesome! If you build it too tall you might find it impairs your line of sight.... and if you had headlights it could block them. LOL

now I get it, duhh, it hangs from the rear hangers of the front leafs - I envisioned the thing hanging out 4ft in front of the CJ off the front hangers

Nah, I was gone to Cape Breton till last night. There isn't a lick of snow around here I can see anyway. I'll get back at it later in the week. I picked up trip springs and still have to gear up the winch attachment.
