MMMMmmmm, delicious Valley Crawl salad. MMMMMmmmm, Schooner. I think the machine is ready! My neighbor keep coming in and yelling "HAHAHA, where's the carberator on that thing! HAHAHA!" its looking kinda insane right now. My buddy Dirt, general CNC expert and new NSCC CAD/CAM center instructor came over to put on his studded tires and I got him to help me cut some parts. we frigged around with SheetCAM and LazyCam, and got one to work. i need a liscence on Monday to operate the torch height control. We had to edit all the programs to set the arc gap manually, and the metal was a bit warped, so we couldn't get the finish right. but anyway...pretty good...check out the first parts testing squareness and interpolation. 1/16" mild steel dross side top, arc'd lead-in is on scrap drop-out center. 1/4-20 bolt and a pellet. 1/8" mild steel the dross just knocks off really easy, I'll be able to tune that out once the DTHC is working. Slave. ooohhh, scary Well, not much holding me back now, got some loose ends to tie up, and hide all the wiring, and water tray, and mount electronics, and , and, well there is lots more to do. But hell its cutting parts, I can't wait to start banging stuff out. gonna do some little drawings tommorrow to practice on that last piece of steel.
