Looks a lot like mine lol. You should double line your winch, at that length of cable there is a lot of amps used.

Very nice Glen, Sarah is such a cutie!! Pretty Warn hubs ya gots there!! You may want to start carrying a torch in case they ever freeze up on ya, nothing worse than get to the trail and you can't lock your hubs and have to run home for a torch...ask me how I know Jeff

LOL I shouldn't have that problem Jeff, because I won't be wheeling her durring the winter, so water "shouldn't" get in. ;D
The mount's staying on during snow season, so no wheeling... well, no trails at least. LOL

Looks good G ,the winch looks like it pulls back instead of up though, could you put an a frame up from the mount with a pulley on it?

Thanks for the positive words everyone!
The pic is kind of deceiving. It's probably close to 45deg. Wouldn't putting the mount closer to the jeep cause leverage to work against me more? I was thinking I'd put it closer to the plow when I change it. Where it is now kind of covers the pull pin (wich you can't see) Sometimes a PITA.

Very cool Glen, you beat me too it, I never got started on mine this winter.
What is keeping the mounting bracket from rotating back when you push? all i see is one big bolt. The mounting assembly looks like it will just rotate up and hit the swaybar.

My thought was an a frame (stinger like) up from the mount on the jeep side with the pulley on it, so the cable goes up and out to the pulley from the winch letting you mount your hook closer to the blade and have less pulling force needed to pick the blade up rather than pulling it back at 45* Just a thought

I had pretty much the same set-up on the CJ, even the cable angle. Never had a problem and it could always lift it. I wouldn't bother changing a thing if it works well for you.
Can you angle your blade at all? I had the one on the CJ welded at a 15 degree angle to the pass side. Nice to be have the snow roll off to the side. Dad has it on the front of his tractor now.
