Looks wicked. I need to pick up some black now to do my frame. The silver I bought doesn't match my body color

There are two on the LJ! Normal one and an LJ only one. The tank is forward a bit from back crossmember, you can get your hand up in there. The TJ tanks are hard against the back frame crossmember.
They do need a coating, but are solid for now. Still needs a day underneath of cleaning and coating. Its work for on Scott's lift.

I never got around to posting my LJ Jam prep stuff or tube fenders. The LJ fenders were getting soft in 'those spots' above the wheel. Plus they were all banged up from years of wheeling. But I didn't have the size die I wanted to make tube fenders with until Scott went to Moab and picked us up some more dies. He got me a rock too. removed entire fender clean it up, remove the outer fender back on all stock like, then start mocking up a tube fender rear mount front mount hood latch trimmed out to leave the support structure, keeping the stock location. I haven't seen anything that looks or works better, so I wanted it left stock. cheap PA LED amber strip lights. For parking lights. Trim to length. Tried to put the lights in the tube, with individual holes for each LED. Burned 'centerpunch' holes to drill later in the mill. Cut access holes in the back to install the strip lights...... .....aaaaand kinked the shit out of them in the bender. Not happening. Waste of time. Threw those away. Made these, just two pieces of pipe and two filler panels, and attacked them with dimple dies. My neighbor came over and looked at the Jeep with no fenders, and looked at my dimple hole things in the vice.....and asked "Uh, what are those?" I says "Fenders man!" He looks at me funny and wanders off again. I guess fenders aren't supposed to be full of holes. Who knew? I'm just a Maritimer, every fender I ever seen has holes in it. KBS'd it all, get some at CVO. PlanB park and turn signals. same LEd strip lights and 180deg visible button LED for turn signal. You can see them from the side, when mounted flat facing forward. And some white 1/8" plastic covers for the dimples. Because shit is even more stylish when you cover it up. Been on there all summer, the KBS is holding up very well so far. No more dented half rotten fenders, just drive into alders no sweat.

The craftsmanship is unreal. Look at how smooth and well everything fits together! Plus the LED's are full sex.

They are commonly used in clamp/hold-down kits for milling machines and fixture making. I've seen little bags of them for sale at Busy-Bee.
