I picked these bucket assemblies up from Andrew (goat on the forum) today to replace my non-working ones. THANKS Andrew! They have an external adjuster....never seen this on a TJ. There is also a plug for in-cab adjuster...weird. Anyway there is a hole in the rad support that these fit in fine. Glad to help out...... I have never seen a TJ with them. Thought they might be part of a tow package or something.........

So the driver side Vent Visor cracked over the winter...touched it with an ice scraper one cold morning. Broke more taking it off. Small pieces. This is the warranty replacement. Sweet. Thanks Jeremy and Matt @ CVO. Two day turnaround! Very much appreciated.

While every other time, that warn oilpan skid is a blessing... trying to remove a stuck bottom starter bolt is nearly impossible with that skid there, flat-backin' it. Finally got it tonight. A ten minute job went over days. (thanks to the folks who gave me advice over txt, much appreciated as always)

Nice. grab some $20 digital verniers so you can check the gap after install. It will tell you if its going to be clunky and popping. Feeler gauges would work too. Good to have verniers around tho.

I missed the limited slip in the rear last winter. A lot less traction in snow. You seem to like your front locked so when this came up, I jumped. Scott doing install. Some day I may find another LS for the 44 that the plates aren't trashed.
Thanks for the advice on verniers. Will look into it.

You can get new plates to rebuild the LS, not expensive.

Locker install in Dana 30 complete. Testing in a ditch on my street. No binding up. Turns fine.

So the front locker worked great and I was glad to have it yesterday. Every skid plate under the Jeep was used and abused. The rocker protection saw rocks all day...about time eh. Thanks Scott, I hit them hard multiple times and laughed every time. The rear bumper is a weak spot as you can see. So are the control arm mounts. Near future budget will be spent fixing these things.

unhappy face. haven't put many miles on this used locker. something wrong, it's popping/slipping while locked and in 4x4. this started after I locked up the brakes on ice and in 4x4...when it grabbed again on bare pavement, there was a nasty noise, hard on the drivetrain for sure... then started popping/slipping if I'm in deep snow, etc. Wasn't like that when installed. I've got it apart to see if I broke any of the small pins. I have spares. grrrr. I had a good sized rare earth magnet in the bottom of the diff since last open. Only a bit of sludge on it, no chunks. ordering new brackets from TMR, these are toast. I'll get Scotty to install if/when his hoist is open again.

These are the pins and springs I took out. Normal looking to me. Because I had them, I put in new pins and springs again. Seems to ratchet better again. Seat of the pants, non-scientific...dunno. I bought this syringe thing at Palmeter Enterprises in Avonport for putting oil back in. It's one of the pain in the @rse jobs if you are trying not to make a mess, hoping this is easier than trying to squeeze bottles into the diff-

I have not had good luck not making a mess with those things. it is not easy to keep them clean on the outside, hard to handle and fill.

Walmart and CT have a cool little transfer pump.... stick one end in the jug and one in the hole to be filled and little to no mess

I have used both the small transfer pump and the large syringe shown above. Both worked okay until I pushed too hard and the hose blew off the end (pumping 80W90 was the common thread...). Overall I prefer the syringe and found it worked well but was messy.
