Spec's for my shocks are 50-450psi. Wonder if their regulators go that high?

Unless your running a train you wont need that high of a pressure...lol... I should be able to top up shocks and check peressures at the Crawl if that will be any use to you...

I'd like to run it around the pit at home here before heading down to the Valley.
What is average for a lightish buggy? I'd want to set them high for starters, then air them down once on the trail, seeing how they work.
What kind of gear do you have?

What size shock are you running? 2.0/2.5? As for gear I have a little unit I got from the factory used for setting pressures in them, just need to find a bottle which shouldn't be too hard

I would start around 220, and then see what your ride height is like from there, I would think you will find it to be a bit too much, but I have no experience with 2.0 so I'm not quite sure. you can always do your final tuning by adding or subtracting oil from the shock to get you final desired rate. there must be someone else around here running 2.0 air shocks. I'll ask around a bit and see if I can find someone else and see what they run...

Anding oil will adjust the spring rate, anding nitrogen will set ride height.220 psi sounds a bit high too me but it's easy to let some nitrogen out to get ur ride height.U might need to add some oil,if u find that they are bottoming out to easy.Sey ur ride heught a bit high for the first run,it'll settle when the oil and nitrogen mix.
I have nitrogen and oil if u need to make some adjustments.

Hey Rue, these should have factory oil level in them?
I am assuming yes, and that I don't have to add oil, just get an initial nitrogen charge. (to get rolling)
I can tune later with oil levels, just need to get mobile first. Had no clue as to what pressure to put in. 20? 200? lol
I guess I'll have to trailer the buggy up to the tire shop to get this done.

Does it HAVE to be nitrogen? I have a shock pump for the air shock on my bike. Goes up to about 400psi iirc. About $25 at any bicycle shop. Threads onto a Schrader nipple. The travel on my shock is only about 2 inches and takes a few minutes of pumping to fill to 200psi. A 14 inch shock may take... longer... Jonathan

Just take the shocks up and charge them. The shocks need to be fully extended to charge them anyways. If I remember correctly,I think that my zuk buggy shocks were charged around 90 psi extended. But that buggy was fairly lite.. shocks sould still have the factory oil levels,I didn't mess with them any.
