Still undecided about participating in the parade or not... Kids want to watch the parade but also want me to put the jeep in so that they can go with me Will definately help decorate and will eventually have to make a decision about participating or watching. Aaron

I remember my clutch foot falling asleep last time. For this purpose, and for the safety of all aboard the float I would like to resign as float puller and designate the pulling to someone willing to pull.
I am still game for having my Jeep in the parade. I'd just prefer that if my foot happened to slip off the clutch, that 10 kids didn't spill off the side of the float and end up unconscious and bleeding. That wouldn't be a good look for the club, at all.

Having driven a standard truck pulling a parade float before I can sympathize with Brandon here...

I find the jeep really lurchy with the rear locker. I have to constantly ride the clutch to make it smooth enough to keep the kids on the float from getting sick. Especially corners!

I would be game to help decorate the float no problem. I think this is a great idea for the club.

What if you put it in low range with the front drive shaft removed, or is it more about lots of starts and stops? For me it was the frequent stops... I'd imagine low range would help as you could just idle along more often

I am in to help out, I would also like to put my Jeep in the parade as well. I could probably tow the float if no one wants to.
