We don't have a tool box thread any where in here I have been on the search for a new tool box for sometime now I have looked at jet , priced a snap on box ( it's full pimp , but you pay through the nose for them ) I am now looking at a Spg international tool box , made in Quebec . They are big in the US and sold to the Canadian gov . Anyone here have any experience with them ? I was wondering about quality etc ( I have heard they were top notch ) Web site www.spginternational.com/en/Contact-us.aspxCatalog ( it's PDF only ) www.spginternational.com/client/uploads/catalogue/english/pdf/spg2012.pdf

We run Gray's at work,we are pretty hard on them ,they seem to stand up other than the occasional altercation with a forklift !

X2 Gray's are well built.
The ones at HD i find are cheaply made, and i've seen some that have started to come apart...so just keep an eye on those.
The International ones you're looking at, i beleive those are sold at many places...just rebadged (napa)..but PA also sells them.

A couple of years ago, I was over seeing operations at a machine shop school when it was time to upgrade the shop after 30-40 years of operations. On of the issues was the state of the Tool Crib. We had a couple of guys go through it and basically get rid of a ton of stuff that was never to be used again. One of the items that needed attention was moving from tooling that was placed on shelving to moving them into a tool box system for better tracking etc (keeps honest thieves, honest). I got a chance to spec out the required tool boxes. Man that was a fun job. We got kick ass boxes. I can't remember what it all cost but it was a pretty penny. I think each tool box was $4-5K. In all we bought about 10 of them.
