The repair piece looks awesome! I think a V8 swap is your only way to solve the other issue A V8 swap has been bouncing around in my head for this. Not sure if I want to go there or not. Too many things that need to be changed out if I go to a V8. Aaron

Now I am battling an mis-fire/hesitation that is pissing me off. It started last week and seems to appear only after I have been driving for a while. Needs to heat up before it starts hesitating. I changed the cap, button, plugs and now the coil but it is still happening. Any ideas on what to look into next? Aaron when did it start doing this?? after you disconnecting the battery for welding my jeep all way does this for about 100 km or so till the cpu relearns ask Apesteguy NN his does the same thing too when he disconnect the battery I think

So I was driving yesterday and it finally thru the Check Engine Light on and I got a readable code. P1391!
DTC P1391 is "Intermittent loss of Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) or Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP)". So the problem is with the CMP or CKP or the wiring in the circuit.
I cleared the codes and will be looking at the connectors first. My question is, should a little dielectric grease be applied to the connectors before plugging them back together?

Well I got sick of the loud exhaust ticking and couldn't stop it. Turned out to be a cracked manifold, good size crack in it at that. lol I did some pricing but ended up realizing that if I bought another stock cast manifold I would end up with the same result. So I ended up buying a pacesetter (painted Black) header. The install was not as smooth as I planned but I got it all fitted up thanks to John Snyder for the help. Sounds great and no more ticking! Chris I got it at Serious Sounds for $235. Creative Auto can get it as well. Only setbacks were that the O2 had to be lengthened and pretty much build my own down pipe to keep it tucked up.
