Do you use anything special for the crosspin? Hardened or regular mild work well enough in this application? Broken drill bit end? LOL

Think grade 8 bolt. I think it will be fine in this application. Drilling the case mounting plate. Made a two position face plate. Uploaded with ImageShack.usFit together and tacked in place. Works fine. Uploaded with ImageShack.usNot bad for cutting out the parts with a torch and my Craftex drill press Setting the alignment was a bit of a pain Uploaded with ImageShack.usThen just for fun I decided to check how close I got it. Uploaded with ImageShack.usWithin about .005. But since my measuring tape doesn't read in thous. ITS ALL GOOD! Almost finished welding. Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.us

Moved the kids buggy into its driveway cocoon Uploaded with ImageShack.usThen moved the big buggy into the shop. Of course the clutch was stuck yet again . Not gonna miss THAT! Boy does this thing take up WAY more room than the kids buggy! Uploaded with ImageShack.usLet the tear down begin! Uploaded with ImageShack.usI'll change a few other things on it as well. Like moving the tank, adding a cross brace to the back and whatever I may have time for.

No driveshaft work? Sweet! Yeah. Would have been sweet if I hadn't already chopped up the old ones to make the new ones... So gotta make new driveshafts yet again.
