Is getting mud in the housing like that even an issue? I took out an inner axle seal once via grit in the housing getting on the axle shaft during install. Mighty inconvenient seal to replace, too. My Jam list just got shorter. Going to be in the USA for work that week. No Jam for me this year. Bummer. Hoping to be home in time to make it up to watch the mud pit. Jonathan

Was out this morning looking for a portable BBQ for Jam but couldn't find what I wanted, but I did pickup a little propane stove that came with this really cool carry case. ;D Attachments:

Nice old trailer Larry.
ZJ to do list:
Swap in TJ front axle with 4.11 gears (one in it has something bent from last years Jam carnage).
Swap in matching 4.11 gears from TJ 35.
Bit of rust repair
Some work to the bumpers
Taurus fan
Not too bad this year, no major fabrication!

Have to's:
-finish building front 3-link. Just need bolts -get astro box installed -shift radiator 2" to passenger side -build coil buckets and shock towers -lengthen front d-shaft -new hub and spindle bearings and seals in front end got them, just waiting for the axles back to put them in -get 5.13's and front lockright installed, fozzy moved from front to rear being done this week By Mr. Justajeep -replace transmission just needs fluid -exhaust redone, again just have a couple of connector pipes left.
Like to do's: Not gonna happen this time 'round -chop rear of frame, raise frame ends, lose some lift. -move gas tank up fully, or build fuel cell. -install 5.2l from '98 Ram 1500, with wiring and sensors from '92 Dakota, along with transmission and t-case -coilovers?

Dan, I told Steph that if you guys are looking for a propane stove like mine (with the cool carry case) I'd get her info on another one down the road from me.

She told me about it on the way home from work, and I'm very interested in hearing more. If you had the opportunity to check the underside of the propane stove for rust and integrity, I would be extremely grateful!
