Hello, I am new to 4 wheeling and was wondering if the club will be having a 101 class anytime soon? I went out on the Topless run(with my top on) and loved every minute of it but would be interested in learning as much as I can!!! My JK is stock so I have to stick with the easier runs  I do have access the Panavista Sobeys community room if you need a spot for a meeting...just let me know the dates that you would be thinking about and I can check to see if the room is available ;D |

I am definitely interested. Not sure how this has been done in the past but it would be nice to incorporate a 'hands on' element to this besides a classroom style approach. I'm thinking a live demo of safe recovery method for instance would be beneficial. Just a thought.

We had one in December for the Valley chapter and it was fantastic. The theory part was great but the practical was awesome. We did everything from hands on with a Hi-Lift, a full winching and recovery demo using snatch blocks, anchor vehicles, etc, and then a session in spotting (guiding) and being guided. Oh, and a short trail run to learn how airing down affects traction. The club puts on an excellent 101 course.
