Well it is here. The Halifax chapter of the NSJC will be hosting a Jeep 101 course this coming May 5, 2013 at 10am.
This course will consist of 2 parts - classroom theory and a trail run afterwards.
With classroom theory we will be covering everything from trail etiquette, parts of your Jeep, self recovery of your Jeep along with recovering others in a safe manner, what to take with you on the trail, night wheeling and much much more.
Who is wecome?
Well everyone from members to non members, as long as you own a Jeep and are willing to drive it off road
Registration.
In order to attend the 101 course, you MUST pre register. After your payment has been recieved you will be registered for the course.
Cost?
There will be a $25 cost to attend this course if you are a non member. If you are already a paid member for the 2013 season, this course is free as part of your membership.When paying this fee it will be applied towards your future membership. This course will also count as a club run event, therefore you would only have 2 other runs required to recieve full membership. Your $25 is non refundable if you choose not to become a member.
Payment can be done in 3 different ways. The first is to pay at a local coffee night every Wednesday to myself, John, or Andrew. The second way is at the next NSJC club run to the same people mentioned above. The third way is to pay via email money transfer to myself. Anyone wishing to do this just PM me for further info.
The location.
Sobeys community room at the Downsview location in Sackville at 10am, May 5th. We do ask that if you are bringing any food or drinks that they be purchased within the Sobeys store. Food or drinks from other stores will not be permitted.
This course does have a LIMITED AMOUNT OF SEATING so dont be left out, register as soon as possible for a great full day of information and trail riding.
