Both the guesses are off by a mile! The Dana looking rear is not where you would expect to find it....... It may not be where it is supposed to be, but that should be a 10.25 or 10.50 ford rearend.

I bought it knowing it had rear end problems , but it was soo mint , and my Pop's talked me into it . Put it up on the hoist and had a look , SCORE easy fix The split pin broke , and let the carrier pin walk a bit , never hurt a frig'N thing , one small little mark on the pinion 1 more hint Full floater D 70

Are you sure it is a Dana 70? My quick limited internet search shows that ALL Dana axles from 30 to the 80 have only 10 bolts on the cover. Your pic has 12 bolts on the cover. Me is confused. The wheel studs look very familiar though. P.S. When I click on the picture to enlarge it, it takes me to your photo album. Hope whatever you got is a diesel.

VANS fawk'n RAWK !! we will have to start a little circle at Jam I hate the looks of the long hood , but its prob easier to work on It has all new tranny lines , brakes are recent , same as battery. Maintained to death ! Color is growing on me , needs striping to break up the color or a huge mural / tear drop rear windows ;D
