That looks like a comfy chair in the office area.

The natural light from big windows will be nice for working on your projects too.

Got the lights installed yesterday, and finished up the bench this morning. Steel welding table will go in the corner. Three lights down each side, 2 across the middle. It's nice and bright. Got started on the next part. We milled down one of the old barn beams and got 4 full 2"x 6" 16' long, and and another 3 10' ones (beam was about 28' long!) Dad got a special cobalt blade that can cut right through the odd nail. Putting in 3 of the big windows, but taking off the bottom swing out windows. We are going to cut down the 3" x 7" rafters from the barn to 3x5 to be the new rafters, and use the 2x3 piece for ceiling joists.

I have a piece of about 4x5 3/16 plate I'm going to use, fits that space just right.

This evening is the first time I've been in it after dark with the new lights, it's awesome!
Mill out some more lumber out of barn beams (some of them were hand hewed), and got the long wall all framed up. Just have to finish framing in the door now.

Had the excavator back friday to do some more work. Leveled it out in front so water won't run in when the snow melts, some work on the ramp going into the end of the barn, and got this lifted off a truck and placed behind the shop. Roadster House! A friend owns the excavator and left it for the weekend for me to play with. I want one!

Thursday afternoon and friday morning we got all the rafters up. Split 6" boards in the mill after lunch to make strapping and had it all on by 4. Got the fascia boards on and read for steel this morning. And by 3 we had the steel on.

Ah man, re-reading this thread has me thinking it is time to do something in order to get some of the space I lost in the garage by putting in the wood boiler and wood storage.
Your expansion looks great. I love the roadster storage shed, be careful to make sure there is ventilation or they sweat pretty bad.

I know where I can get a 14x 28' roof section. Hum, time to go to the yard a start measuring.
