You and a few others recommended Community Metals. I'm insulating the cabin roof with 2" styrofoam plus 3/4 strapping so I need a custom gable end cap and eave starter, basically an inch or 2 longer than stock. Community said they couldn't custom bend for me, but would provide a cover strip.(My solution but not very attractive) Price came in $99 under Scotias custom bends so it's worth the extra. FYI a 16' sheet from Scotia is $57. Total price steel vs. $30 bundle shingles is about double. Since I'm using 2" rigid insulation if I went with shingles I'd have to resheath the whole roof. Steel makes sense, plus I already shingled the house roof this spring, 1 a year is enough.
My quote is 29 gauge, same as Community?

Dad recycled one of the doors from the fallen building, turned out pretty good! It's all closed in now.

Never heard of them, is that where yours came from?

Underground power cables are run from the barn and hooked up to new panel, 100 amp. Old shop is feeding off new panel now, nice to get rid of the wire that's been running across the ground for the last couple months!
We'll soon have lights and power, though those 2 big windows make it quite bright in there.

Well you made the same critical error in building design that Scott did - you're missing a hook in the middle of the roof so I can get it picked up and delivered.

Got most all the wiring done today. Have to get the ceiling up now so we can install the lights. Took a shot inside earlier this evening.

Ceiling is insulated and gyprocked, walls to the big window side of the door are insulated. Ready to put up the lights now, and electrical will be all done.

Walls are all insulated and have vapor barrier. Inspector was out today and gave the thumbs up. Should have the lights in this week.

Got my steel roof done this weekend. Your Dad and my Dad seem to have something in common. LOL I changed the color to less Harvest gold years ago and dad changed it back. Harvest gold it is! I found out this week a local building supply sells metal roofs made by Scotia Metals for usually less than Scotia sells them for. I went with them because Community couldn't custom bend the trim to cover the 2" rigid insulation and strapping.

Changed our minds on the bench under the windows. It's a nice space along there for a project vehicle (TJ8 ). Scotia's metal is cheaper at the local Home Hardware that direct from them too, but still way more than Community. Cottage looks good!
