Things are going to be a little crazy for us as Rob might not be back from Wainwright until next Thursday and it could be late. I'm going to take off work early Thursday though so can hopefully get us mostly organized, signed up etc. and maybe I'll even find a kind fellow Jeeper to help me set up our tent?

You will need to have his Jeep tech inspected as well. Sign up should be a breeze and with all the Fab (fabulous?) guys and engineering types running around, tent setup should be easily enough arranged.

I'd suggest the trail guides know their trail, and can vary the amount of rigs based on all the factors listed above, during sign-ups. They can accomodate a clique that runs together, or add in a rig they know shouldn't be an issue. Or make cuts if its pouring rain. 'we can't handle 15 rigs on this trail in the rain' I've seen plenty of times that this has been the case anyway, but it might be a good idea to empower the trail guides a little more to be able to do this 'day of' juggling without getting bagged on later. I had to listen to peope bitch all ing weekend about my trail only being run one day when it wasn't my desision... this would have made it 10X worse. "sorry, you can't go with your buddies because it's raining."

"sorry, you can't go with your buddies because it's raining." Better than explaining to the other 10 or so people on the trail that they are stuck where they are on the trail because a Jeep was allowed on the trail by you that shouldn't have been there. Way back when I was a guide on the Chrysler Jam's, there were minimum trail requirements, guides were backed by Jam management on decisions for their trails, I don't think it would be any different with the Jam committee. We also posted up our trails beforehand with some pics so people could see what was being offered ahead of time, I still don't understand the secrecy about trails. But seeing as I'm not going I guess I can't complain. I had considered it, but I didn't have the funds to have the ZJ trail ready before close of registration and I didn't know if there were two trails it was capable of doing anyway.

Hey Enos, Trails are listed.. back on the 16th of May, after guides and trail accessibility is confirmed. No secrets. Easier to wait till you know you got your duck in a row.

Oh, I know they were in this 5 page thread, somewhere, 5 names with no information for anyone who doesn't already know the trails. To each his own *shrug*

Just to let you know, in my opinion. The Patriot trail (the new one offered this year) is not as stock friendly as it sound. It is bumpy, rocky and it could be muddy if it rained. My Grand with 4" lift was struggling last weekend in that trail. The pumpkins were dragging a lot, specially in the last 2 + MKS.
I know some of you, might say it is not the jeep that is at fault but the driver.
We are running it again this weekend. Hence, we should have a better idea of what to expect.
Again, it is my opinion.
