Looking good. A little more wheelbase will be great on the Zuk. Climb better, better on the road too. Going Toy IFS steer box I assume? Easy mounting area you got cleared off...going to sleeve it?
I dig the chopsaw stool. heehee

got everything cleaned off both sides of the front part of the sammy's frame . found this this number tells me my junk is a 91 Tin Top . Funny thing is the vin # on the dash is different and it says my rig is a 92 soft top . The whole vehicle was red at one time , still is under it all except the drivers door wtich is blue . On a side note , I bought the Samurai from the Suzuki dealer in Dartmouth . back on track ,,,,,,,the frames on Samurais are very thin and once I had the rails cleaned off I could see they were starting to buckle where the shock towers were , made some fish platers plated the frame where the old towers were and where the new ones will be cut the shackle hangers out as they have to be moved forward to match the 3" stretch and out to match the Toyota's 29" perch spacing made these to fill in the back part of the cut out I'll now cut out the outlined areas and reweld the mounts back in the right place . the drivers side . Only went up this far As I said before , the PS box will go here and it will be plated Also got two of the wheels done to fit the Toyota hubs . had to open the center of the rims about 1/8 of an inch . I have 5 of these . had them in the barn for 15 years . Makes me think I was planing this build for some time all for now .

Looks really good! You'll be hard pressed to hurt that axle with your powerplant and weight, should be super reliable. The primered frame looks real good too, came out nice.

Doesn't that Zuk have a 2JZ in it, or is that another?
