Keep it! It's going to cost a lot to make another one that you are satisfied with... and finding an LJ/TJ without rust issues is becoming more difficult.
Get it rust checked or crown undercoating, and interior under carpets and inside doors and windshield frame before you park it. Treat the gas. Maybe put it on jackstands so you aren't flatspotting the tires... you will thank yourself for keeping it next time you feel the urge to run it again.

Jan that's probably pretty close to the truth. School is mucho busy. First time in university in almost 20 years, graduate school at that and working full time. Glad I don't have kids. I might be mental. Plus, I made myself feel old recently... I will get my MBA almost 30 years to the day from when i finished high school. Lol Continuing education baby!!

Definitely see that happening. Will have to remember to put that large non-refundable deposit in the rental contract.

My wife just finished a full time 2 year Social Work Degree from Dal (Distance Education), had a 21hr/week part-time job and meanwhile raising our 2 boys. I guess the only difference is she left the wheeling up to me. It's still a challenge even for me to find time to get out but I think it should be easier now. Unless you really need the money Len, I'd say keep it. Yours is set up great. Size is great and it's all there. I got rid of mine right before my first born arrived but I think I upgraded just a bit and for a good price. Also I knew I wouldn't be able to afford to wheel it and have the time. Salary was a lot lower back then for me.

You know, it will probably end up sitting. What were the issues from the long sit Randy? You know, I didnt have any issues, besides not keeping a trickle charge on the battery and ruining that. No leaks, nothing dried out, etc. I'd leave it for months with out starting it. Sometimes it took a bit to get it fired up again, but it always started. I put it away clean and had greased everything before hand too.

If I could weigh in len, save the $400 a month and lend it out to everyone every week you'll still own it, plus it wont be sitting around and you'll save the $400 a month...just saying
