That's quite the list, I may not be nearly as experienced in owning a jeep as most of these guys but i know that more mods and $$ doesn't really mean your jeep experience will be better. I originally owned a 2000 tj sport with 3.25" RC lift 285/75/16 BFG ATs, and MCE flat fenders. That's the bulk of what was done to it anyway, Stock gear ratios, axels, open diffs, etc. I wheeled it and had plenty of fun, was satisfying keeping up with the bigger guys too! You don't need a whole lot to do most trails around here ( I'm from Cape Breton and that's where i wheeled, but i assume the HRM is similar.) Anyway, i got rid of the 2000 and picked up my current rig, 06 Rubi ( 6" long arm, 35 MTs, Bumpers, winch, D44s, lockers, etc). I just recently moved to Halifax for school ( NSCC ) i live close to DAL though, im assuming you were talking about the CT on quinpool? I haven't done any wheeling up here and don't know how often i will but i can say from the wheeling i've done in Cape Breton with both jeeps; i prefer the smaller one. Don't get me wrong i love my 06 but the 2000 was more challenging. The closer to stock 2000 was also more fun to drive and a hell of a lot of a better DD. If i had of known my plans to move here and go back to school i probably would of kept it. In the future if my 06 remains a DD i'll probably be dropping it 2" and skidplating everything, going back to a narrower 33" tire also. Sorry for the long post but basically what i'm saying is that i agree with what most are saying, start with the basics, wheel, and then decide where you want to go from there. I'm sure Jan will agree, i remember the looks he gave my tj when he came out with us in CB and yes the flares are gone, gross i know.

The rear breather is at the bottom of the wheel well liner so it's fairly low. I might run them all up to beside the battery? Then if I do get a snorkel maybe incorperate into that?

I guess its time for the Dog to wade in ... I started out with big plans as well ... Atlas 4 Speed, stroker kits the whole 9 yards ... as I was building up my truck I changed some of my plans and stuck to other parts. Even though I didn't do all the things I set out to do, I had a blast! Let's be honest : some people enjoy working on jeeps, some people like being seen in jeeps and a very small group like going out and breaking jeeps. It's not for everyone and that's fine. Even though I'm sitting on 38's and a 4.5" lift, the truck I have now is certainly not "too capable". I get caught up in trees and stuck in mud like everyone else. With the bigger tires and lockers, getting stuck sometimes gets a bit Biblical in consequence but its all fun. There is no "right way" to do this. Although your particular dream may not appeal to everyone. There are a few "wrong ways" and the people in the NSJC are all really friendly, very knowledgeable and super helpful. They'll give you lot's of advice but it's your build so follow it to where-ever you want to. I think the best advice is ... go out and do some 4-wheeling before you buy anything. The more you do, the clearer your plans will be. The Dog is done. Let's go wheelin' !

Not to take a dump on your original list but that would be pointless to have in NS. I say put 35" tires and some body armor with a 3-4 lift and have fun for 8 years. When you have a disposable income then build a buggy and get a truck and trailer to haul it. If your driving style is anything but insane than prorock 60 are a huge waste of money. All your add ons are extra weight and cause the jeep to be less capable. I run the biggest tires most hp and wildest driving style but my weight kills me. I can't keep up to the peckerheads running rigs that cost 10% of what mine cost. We are all in it for the fun and when I get behind the wheel I have a smile so big I can lick the back of my ears.

The foot steps were a little beat up so I decided to take them off for more clearance and whatnot. Sorry for the bad photos I have underground parking and and iPhone camera so quality isn't the best in low light:/ I'll get some tomorrow in daylight.

New compressor!!! I needed something that could fill my tires after a trail ride if I'm a ways from anywhere to air up. It took me less than 5 minutes to go from around 20psi in 4 31inch tires to airing them all up to 32 psi. It should do the trick got it at crappy tire for a bit over 30 I believe:)

Wait till you take your tires to 10 psi on a trail ride. The difference is awesome. You will love OBA.

Yeah I did some research and that is what most people seem to do. I am going to take it up the cage in the back and extend the front diff, t-case etc. in the front. I don't want to hook it into the air box or snorkel because if the fluid goes the other way that could cause some serious problems:/ it wont cost anymore to extend them that little bit more but it will give me peace of mind even though if i do go that deep I'm going to have lots of other problems:)

Be mindful of how much you lift it, and your add ons, roof rack/ bigger tires seeing as you have underground parking... A lot of the parking in halifax doesnt accommodate my rig lol
