Yeah thats why I was going for the 2.5" budget boost to try and keep it low. However the bumpers skids winch etc. will make it sag. I have about 6 inches to play with in my building but I don't want to push it

We are going with aluminum skids to save weight

Would it be worth it to save my money for when I do lift and get a long arm lift? I love to play on the rocks:) Maybe just a 3 or 4 inch lift not sure what would be the best with the sag of all the skids and whatnot.

We are going with aluminum skids to save weight Aluminum is lighter and more expensive but the steel is heavier cheeper and stronger. Is it worth it to save the weight? I'd be saving like 50ish pounds I think. not sure on that.

Went into CVO for a cb and they told me to go over to traction? Well they ordered some in and they should be here by monday so I should get it by then and start the install shortly after. As for now for a weekend project I think I'll extend my rear diff breather at least and try and figure something out for the front.

I would love to have a jk like your dream rig, maybe someday. Im just finishing building my jk and it will be overbuilt for trails around here but i could care less. when im on the trail with two kids in the jeep asking for juice packs or snacks its nice to not worry so much about what is ahead on the trail when your looking backwards. Its also alot cheaper to buy parts once so where a small lift and 35s isnt much more than a boost and 33s it saves buying it all twice. Either way it will be very capable.

That depends on how much aluminum you use - TNT They do bumpers in aluminum as well as skids.

Hmm food for thought. Good thing I have a bit of time before I get to ordering the skids and bumpers. Maybe Ill get a bit taller lift. I like the idea of long arms anyways:)

Holy crap nice:))) Its nice when you can do all the trails around here so you can just go out and make your own trails under some power lines somewhere. just drive straight across the province:) any pics? what height do you have the coils set to?

So I went to extend the rear breather today and turns out that the insulator that blocks the dirt from getting in behind the tail light was missing so it was full of guck. So I cut a piece of plastic to fill the hole and Ill run the breather up in the and put spray foam to secure the little panel I made. Maybe get that done tomorrow morning before the run.

So I was looking at some long arm systems and RK has a 3 link front and rear. Im not real familiar with the benefits of a 3 link system and weather or not it would be worth the extra coin. Any advice?
