Well folks here it is being the month of September and Autumn will soon be on our doorsteps along with the ending of the 2013 Halifax cluib run list to be completed just around the corner. Although it has been a great year of exploring the new and old trails, we as trails masters are here to provide the best experience possible to everyone new and old. Here is the question to you as being up to date paid members. Other then trails that have been run this past year, do you have a favorite trail in your area that you would like to be done as a NSJC club run in ther coming 2014 NSJC season?
In order for the trail that you have, located or found it has to fall under the following guidelines to qualify for a NSJC Halifax club run.
1 It must be atleast stock do-able
2 You must provide a rating for the trail you are suggesting based on the 1-10 scale of difficulty under the trail rating system found on the home page of the NSJC home page.
3 You will be required to name the trail, understanding that the trail has not been run in the past years as a NSJC club run trail.
4 The trail may not cross at any point of protected lands, actively farmed lands or any other lands posted no tresspassing or fenced off areas intended to keep vehicles from being traveled.
5 You as the locater and founder of a "new trail" must be willing to clear, and provide a pre run of the trail to 1 of the 2 Halifax NSJC trail masters before it can be listed as a club run for the 2014 NSJC club run season
6 All suggestions of new trails must be sent to myself aka coolwind1 or Andrew aka papasmurf via PM only. Postings of trails and areas here on the open forum will not be considered for a Halifax NCJC run 2014 and will also be deleted.
So here is your chance folks to have your "special" trail as a Halifax NSJC club run this coming 2014 season. You don't have one? Well it is still early and this year the 2014 Halifax NSJC club runs wont be posted until Deccember 31st at midnight. Yes thats right, new years eve, so get out there and find that trail that you love so much that you want to share as a NSJC .Halifax club run. Till then, happy wheeling, be safe out there and remember to always wheel within your limits.
