Well like the title says, the NSJC Halifax Chapter will be offering a WINTER WHEELING 101 course this coming winter. This course will cover everything from how to use a highlift in icy conditions, the benifits of airing down in deep snow, how to negotiate a ice crossings safely, how to read snow conditions, and in the worst case scenario what to do if you have to spend the night and much much more. If you feel you may be interested in taking this class please send a PM to myself or Andrew aka papa smurf to reserve a spot. Seats will be limited to 20maximum so dont wait and be disappointed.
Cost : Members- $10.00 Non members - $35.00
We would also like to note that if you are a non member and want to become a member your membership will be taken from the cost of the course. Sounds like a deal, well it is. You get all the benifits of the course and when you complete all the required runs the cost of your membership is all ready covered.
The dates for this event are yet to be announced based on interest.
From your friendly neighbourhood trailmasters, Shaun aka Coolwind1 and Andrew aka Papasmurf

Sounds like something I would be interested in. I just bought a Jeep, know very little about vehicles and want to learn as much as I can so I can go wheeling and feel confident.

Thanks for any help :-) You do not have to be a member to take this course. Pay the non member fee and if you become a member your membership fee is taken from the course cost.

I would be interested in this. I only need one more run to become a member (would winter wheeling 101 count) so the $35 for the day and then pay for my membership sounds like quite the deal!
