From the " Cutting up a perfectly good TJ " thread V1.0 May 23 2009 "I am really happy with the way this turned out , If I had a TJ , this would be my first mod " I feel like you are foreshadowing the Unlimited build

Are any parts coming off your TJ or are you starting fresh?

Should look nice and undercover with the hi-line work.
Save that 1/2 body lift for me, I'd like to do the flatbelly before Jam. Maybe.

Mine has a cut in half 3" body lift in it as well. 1.5" is too much "in my opinion". If it wasn't such a hassle, I'd cut that down to 3/4" or 1" at most.
Having better access to the top of the rear shocks is nice though.

Welcome to the LJ club - exactly how you described it to me on the phone - lotsa work but so much potential. Genright high fenders would go so well with that Genright steering box guard <poke poke> LOL I look forward to this one getting built. Who knows... one day we'll wheel LJ's together in Moab <poke #2>. Keven is trying to get me to go to Moab for a week in May , I need to fund raise , enjoy my threads ? send me dollars so I can go on that dream vacation !! Somebody send Scott money please. I gave him a choice - either a week in Moab in May (think shorts weather), or a week in February at King of the Hammers (think windy cold desert pitting for a race team laying under a rig changing transmissions - been there done that - sucks haha). Can't figure out why he chose Moab LOL. Time to step up buddy - come on an adventure. (hey, and I wasn't telling anyone, just hinting a bit - but now that you've spilled it I get to bug you all over the board LOL) I'm going to get Creepy to come to King of Hammers - you'd have a blast there Jan - just crawling around the rigs you would have so many ideas for builds - tons of fun.
