That would be such a cool jeep to build but I would never buy something like that already built up...

I wouldn't pay $3000 for the thing, let alone $35000.
Its a static display of poor taste in 4x4 fabrication. Like an 80's Camero guy built a Jeep. Very outdated, and no cool parts. Looks like a Chevy10 bolt in the front, and leafs. Old ass tires, ratchet shifter, cheap plastic seats. Yuk!
for that price, it should have aftermarket one-ton axles, modern big rubber on beadlocks, suspension seats and a really nice full cage.
no mention of motor/trans/t-case combo, but I'm guessing its the same donor as the 10bolt, so its got a 350/700R4, and an aluminum case with the rear slip yoke falling out. lol
The steering column and dash are pretty decent looking.
Good luck selling it for anywhere near the asking price.

so I have to wonder if it is sitting on a newer CJ chassis, or if they just pulled some plates from a newer CJ, in order to make it a '62

Looks like MPH gauges and an NB plate, probably someone brought up from states then realized it was shit and traded it to the only dealer dumb enough to take it.

Its been for sale for years, used to be on Kijiji in one of the showrooms on Sackville Drive - I'd say it got sold to someone in NB, then they got nailed by roadside and would have had to get it engineer approved so they brought it back to NS and traded it in.
Pure trailer queen show rig.

This Jeep was at our Fairview Chrysler NBJC run here in Fredericton this summer. They had it sitting in the showroom. meh....at least the kids liked it. The rest of us were oogling over the stock CJ-6 and military flatties outside in the rain...

Looks more like someone built it to race, then someone else tacked on a lift and offroad tires.
You'd shatter your spine taking that offroad.
