How did this end up working for you last winter? I picked up an old fisher plow for my cj7 to hopefully avoid so much snow blowing this winter. Do you have a factory fisher plow mount on it on the frame? Or mount to the front leaf springs like the older ones did? My next project is making up a mounting bracket. I don't think I want to go the leaf spring setup due to mine being spring over axle and I need to figure out an idea for a dropped bracket off the frame that avoids the suspension parts. I don't think I'll run the hydralics this winter and just lift and lower it with my winch. What did you get the plow from ? I am looking for Toyota plow brackets

It worked great all winter. The plow and mount looks like a factory fit, looks made for a CJ. It's bolted to frame in a bunch of places and looks hard to remove. There's bars running under the axle to a rear support. I can grab some pics. My soa CJ5 plow setup that I never really used has a giant lower mount that hooks to frame by the skid, goes under the axle and needs soa clearance. Wannna buy it? lol nsjc.proboards.com/thread/38534/snowplow-cj5

I think I'm going to try to find a thick plate to bolt to the front outsides of the frame and bend it slightly out around the leaf springs, and mount some square steel across between them and run two supports back from that to the frame by the motor mounts above the axle. Hoping to make it simple but strong. See what I can find for scrap metal. Lol

That's what my factory looking stuff is, but the rear supports go past motormounts, (under axle), to front-leaf back-mount.
