Anyone know of a shop that specializes in the 6.0 Powerstroke? Ford doesn't know how to fix their own trucks.

Head gaskets replaced and heads studded for overheating symptoms 10,000 miles ago at a diesel shop in the US. Truck was still running hot so I took it to Ford in Bridgewater they kept it 7 weeks and said they diagnosed a fan clutch and replaced it. Truck still runs hot, now has a fair amount of white/blue smoke on start. Heater blows cold when I am off the gas, and hot when on the throttle. Oil cooler has been replaced, delta temps between oil and coolant are in the 4-7 degree range. I had suspected water pump but now with the smoking thinking it is either a head gasket again or a cracked head. Also having to to up rad regularly. 2005 F250 6.0 diesel.

Your EGR cooler could be split, not sure if it would cause all those problems. IF that is it, between my neighbour and I, we should have a good used one here. I will ask my neighbour what he thinks of the symptoms you have.
Are you losing coolant out the rad cap on the Degas bottle?

The lack of heat at idle would make me believe water pump. hmmm or a sliping belt reducing pump rotation? white blue exhaust shows head gasket, may have been caused by weak water pump. Keep us posted, I would like to know what you find. Da Dogg

I have one here that I am battling the same kind of symptoms. I suspect the heads were warped when the shop did gaskets and studs the 1st time, not plained.
