Well It was just a matter of time , and the time is fast approaching to start my own Tewb buggy I have most of the base parts to start my Buggy Front and rear Toy solid axles , 38 in TSL's , 87 Toy ( complete )22re / auto , 91 XJ AW4 , 231 crawler box and a d300 plus a 89 toy for any other odds & ends I might need Parts rig I tried to pick it up and move it I started my rims a while ago . 15X7 , I cut out the centre's , flipped them and then welded them at 1.75 Back spacing Crawler box I bought from Rico Rue made a new stub shaft for me Rico broke it I bought this empty housing for $30 ! I cut all the brackets off with a torch Cleaned up ( with nicks filled back in ) That great ole Miller still going strong ! Rear axle Yup I knick'd "r Its pretty rotten under that spring perch And another build thread begins !! ( I need to get my ass in gear , maybe this thread will help )

Are you using the same location to mount anything to? If not I would think cut new tube length wise and weld it over this area. Just an idea.

I picked up 2 - 8 in pipe caps I am thinking about cutting the factory cover off and welding it in place , later I can figure where my fill plug will go . It will be trussed over the cover

Awesome! Those pipe caps are a great idea. What will you be using for a tube bender?
