I've seen a bunch of videos on pirate jeep of trails like Ghost train & the quarry.
These aren't being offered this year?

Trails for this year are: Crusher High Voltage Tia's Half Moon/International Combo Black Rock Johnson's Settlement What are the ratings for these trails? I'm sure the newbs would appreciate knowing what trails would be good for stock jeeps and what trails to stay away from with a stock jeep! Can't wait for Tia's, it has become one of my faves.

This will be my first Jam... I've seen a bunch of videos on pirate jeep of trails like Ghost train & the quarry. These aren't being offered this year? Ghost Train has access issues sometimes, and its far away. High Voltage takes place of Quarry for this year's high-rated trail. Its an old favorite with some wild rock walls. If you are missing the Quarry, try the Crusher, same wood-cut, but a bit milder.

Crusher looks like a lot of fun, I checked out some pics on this forum... from what I can see of high voltage it looks more like a buggy trail?

Define buggy trail? lol High Voltage has really hard stuff on it that will shut down any street legal vehicle, and there is stuff on it that buggies haven't made yet, and not for lack of trying.
But all along the way, there is a good trail that is challenging to a good driver on 33's. The insane obstacles are all optional. HV used to be a Jam staple years ago, and if you didn't know, the upper end is the area where Valley Crawl is held. It will be a hit and a full day, and its pretty close to camp.

I've run High Voltage in an XJ with 3" lift, 31s and a rear lockright. It wasn't easy, but I made it through on the main trail that Jan mentioned with only a couple of tugs and no damage...ruts might be a little deeper now though.

Oh okay, I just saw the pics and assumed the massive rock faces were part of the actual trail and not optional

Keep in mind folks that yes Jam is supposed to be lots of fun!! Some damages/breaks are to be expected, more on some trails than others. Which is why the trails are rated and when you sign up for them, vehicle specs are required so the guides can decide if the trail you picked is the best fit for you and your rig.
