Hey all,
Just thought I would start a build thread now that I've started putting some money into my Jeep. Haven't really said much since I signed up, but I do plan on joining you guys on some runs now so figured I might as well introduce myself.
I used to own an 01 TJ but had to sell it and get something more practical while I finished school. Couple years later I bought my JK from a tow company over in NB. It had been in an accident and I couldn't resist the price.
My Dad and I replaced the front fender, dana, driveshaft and with a few other parts it was good as new. Started buying some aftermarket parts and now I'm hooked.
Rugged Ridge hood latches
Windshield mounts and LED trail lights
Smittybilt tailgate gear bags
Bushwacker fender flares, LP8500 winch, and a custom front bumper we just finished last weekend.
Shackle mounts to replace the stock hooks
Just picked up a set of 35x12.5x17 Trail Diggers that are going on before the Ellershouse run
And that's it for now. It's not too crazy yet, but my wallet can't handle any more mods for at least another month. Future mods will be Bilstein shocks and Synergy springs all around, adjustable control arms and trackbar, and hopefully I'll find a good price on a front locker between there.
