It was incredibly motivating to see a teenage girl, in her 2 month old Willys, wheel through that mud pit like a veteran. I'm sure that almost every Jeep that went before her, got winched out of that hole.

sounds like it was a good time, wish I could have made it. How was the chute road section of the trail?

The big mud hole on Chute, near the beginning, was dryer than the last time I was on it in Nov/13 (Support Our Troops run). It still had mud but not as watery. A few deadfalls had to be cleared as we worked through the trail. The big flooded section was still pretty deep, I'm still drying out my rear carpets. Overall, it's still a fun trail and the 2 together make for a great day with enough of everything to make it fun but still stock doable (as witnessed by 2 bone stock JKs and their female crews).
