Long time Jeep guy . First time to these forums.
Saturday morning 8 am sharp I am meeting a jeep friend of mine at our place of work to head out for a casual off road jeep run in North Beaver Bank , ending on the other side of the 101 Highway Upper Sackville. This run will last approx. until 2 pm in the afternoon
I am 48 yrs old and grew up in Beaver Bank and know these trails and back woods very well as I have traveled them many times over the years. As I usually only have guided 1 or 2 jeep friends in the past I thought it might be fun to try and gain a few friends in the Jeep community who enjoy getting out in their jeeps once a month (usually on long weekends, but this weekend is an exception)
Meeting place is at my work shop yard as stated 8 am sharp Saturday morning Aug 15. 749 Windgate drive ,off the Beaver Bank RD at the railway tracks this is the location of 'Dennis Lively Construction and Backhoe services' and you will see Dump Trucks in the front parking lot. I will be there at 7:30 am until 8 am when we head out
Next month I will try and give a more advanced notice.
Peaceout

Unfortunately I did not meet any new drivers outside my circle of Jeep friends on this run. We had a good time and never broke anything Started in North Beaver Bank 1 KM short of Rawdon and made our way on back roads to Grand Daddy Hill. Along the way I came close to being stuck in a muddy water hole with water up the door sides but managed to keep the Jeep crawling through it. No one else tried that hole . Later I had to winch my friends Jeep from a dangerous side hill where he was close to rolling over (no damage done) We reached Grand Daddy hill and climbed up the rock slate there. Visited one of the new NSP Wind Turbines up close (they are massive), then we crossed the Beaver Bank RD at the old Radar Base (Beaver Bank Villa). We started our cross country trek to Mount Uniacke. The Bridge was disassembled but we used the side ATV trail to get across the river. Stopping at the Irving at the Mount Uniacke turn off on the 101 High Way for refreshments we then crossed the 101 HWY into the old Sackville Land fill site . Climbed a few rock faces in there and then stopped at a clay pit to end the day I was most surprised at my 2015 Jeep Unlimited which was able to conquer every climb that I had previously did in my V8 Grand Cherokee with 4 wheel Lockers peaceout Everyone
