Hi I have an 85 CJ with a Small block in it with i believe to be a advance adapter kit engine mounts "total Garbage " Bell housing special Lol according to site anyway > Currently my setup is "85 cj all original steel beautiful Jeep custom install per say ?? 350 4 bolt,Flat top cam heads bore 4 Speed holley Blahh Blahh Blahh .OK back to reality My issues are 1. engine mount kit sux tore up 3 clutch manual linkages and two slave cyinders Engine moves around so much once for a weekend had to chain the bloody engine down so i could get out of the woods ,That was after brand new mounts from the company. The setup i used to rig up the slave cylinder i cannot get the angles i need using three different jeep slave cylinders had slaves blow out , so i need an Idea ??/ Route to correct issues

Not sure how you are ruining slaves unless your slave is bolted somewhere other than the transmission. I don't have a picture of mine right now, it's a 4.3 with a SM465 trans. I made a plate that uses the bellhousing bolts and used a 4 cyl S10 master and slave. The S10 slave was only because the Jeep came with an S10 master and no drivetrain. It's also compact and fits, I don't have much room beside the exhaust. I've seen the AA engine mounts and they look stout, I'm guessing the bushings are soft or the mounts need gussets.

Thanks I believe that one would be the same as one of the ones i have tried guess i will look into NOVAC adaoter slave cylinder for $200 Lol

Mount a slave to the bell, problem solved. Isn't that what Chev's are like stock anyway? Get rid of CJ mechanical linkage.
Would need to see pics of engine mount problem.
